Episo is a mobile storytelling platform for readers and writers. We collect only the information needed to create accounts, operate reading and publishing features, secure the service, process purchases and gifts, provide notifications, and improve the app experience.
Information we collect
- Account information such as name, username, email address, profile photo, language, and password credentials.
- Reader and writer activity such as stories opened, reading progress, library saves, downloads, likes, comments, follows, reports, and notifications.
- Commerce records such as Gem purchases, gifts sent, creator-program activity, product identifiers, receipts, and anti-fraud signals.
- Device and technical information such as device type, app version, IP address, crash diagnostics, push-notification identifiers, and security logs.
How we use information
We use this information to provide Episo, remember reading progress, personalize discovery, send account and story notifications, prevent abuse, support purchases and creator-program review, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share limited data with service providers that help us run the app, including hosting, analytics, payment processing, push notifications, fraud prevention, moderation, customer support, and legal compliance.
Security and retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. Some records may be retained after account deletion where required for tax, payment, dispute, fraud-prevention, moderation, or legal reasons.
